The Avengers inspired dresses
You may already know my little obsession with the Avengers, I already posted Jangsara’s awesome make-up and some great nail-art. I also came up with daily wearable make-up looks inspired by some of the characters (might re-do that some time).
So we are back to The Avengers as an inspiration.. for.. DRESSES!!! Isn’t that awesome! I would so wear one of the less costume-y ones to a party!

In the ensemble above I like Loki the best, it’s such pretty over all outfit and the hat is stunning! Besides I just love dark green and black, those colors go so well together and look flattering on me

These are all gorgeous, I couldn’t decide, I’d just take all of them! And then I would have to go to so many dinner or cocktail parties to show off my outfits! I might just finally start a new sewing project. Although I already have a billion other ideas for sewing (dresses, drapes, table cloths, shirts…)

I did my nails, it’s just a plan silver, but I really liked it. It’s so sparkly! Here you go:
And I got myself an ukulele, which is just plain awesome!!! I already learned the most important chords and can play simple songs.. I might even have little guest appearance on a friend’s song. Hahaha! I love my baby!
My co-worker gave me an old gameboy! Yeah! Now I only need some games to play. If anyone has any..

Batman Fashions That You Can Wear to the Office

Superhero party here I come!
I am invited to a motto birthday party and it’s superheroes & super villains! I love this, couldn’t do that one often enough!
Last time I went to one, I was Harley Quinn. For those who do not know her: Batman opponent and madly (in the literal sense) in love with the Joker! That’s the costume:
I made this costume myself, because a skin-tight bodysuit Harley normally wears just isn’t for me! I was pretty pleased with the outcome!
This time I’ll be a hero instead of a villain! Since I just saw The Avengers and all, I was searching through the internet and stumbled upon the lady’s Captain America dress and I like it.
Well. I won’t have my boobs right under my chin, but the costume’s cool. It actually comes with the things to put over a pair of normal boots! Yay!
Good idea or what? Any other suggestions?
Magnetic nail polish
Here’s my first try with magnetic nail polish. Not perfect yet, but I think I’ll like and I have 9 more fingers for practicing! I’ll show you the result, if it’s good, otherwise I’ll practice some more and show you then!
By the way, I finally went to the movies to watch “The Avengers”, I felt like the last person on the planet to watch that movie. But it’s not so easy to find a date for a couple of people who all work and/or study at different times. I really loved that movie, it was awesome and every bit as good as I expected. But guess what! I wore neither the appropriate make up nor did I have fitting nail art. However, I had a great evening and got to look at some nice 3D shots of Captain Americas butt!

I would love to do some really artistic ones. But I just cannot paint my right hand and I don’t have that much time right now.
So I thought to myself, well, I want at least something The Avengers inspired!
You may have noticed, how I love accented nails lately, they are so easy, but there’s still a little twist to the look compared to just plain one color nails.
I was thinking the Hulk first, I keep that one for later. So here are my Iron Man inspired accented nails:
I used Catrice 650 Goldfinger and Rival de Loop 24.
I might do some Iron Man face detail on the golden finger later. What do you think?
Ha! Star Wars Make Up
While I put together the Star Wars post for may the 4th, I searched the whole internet for cool Star Wars related make up and couldn’t find any. I was visiting Jangsara, but too early, she came up with an awesome R2D2 style a little later. I love it!
By the way, she also came up with tutorials for some of the Avenger’s looks.
