This is my sister, she’s going to be a make-up artist. This is just something she did on herself for fun. I’ll try to feature her more often since she’s really talented and also does “normal” make-up! Maybe she’ll write a cool tutorial for you guys!

I made this dress for a friend’s 50s-themed wedding in July 2010.
I altered a pattern I found on the internet, adding lining, a zipper and something between a underskirt and a real petticoat. I had quite a hard time with the lining, but it worked out in the end.
The buttons are only sewn on for decoration.
Fabric etc.: pale blue cotton, ice cream patterned cotton, pale blue lining, pale pink buttons and a pale blue invisible zipper, all bought at Stoffmarkt Holland.
